Plunge – Terms of Service

1. Scope of Services

Plunge provides residential and commercial plumbing services including (but not limited to) repairs, installations, maintenance, inspections, and emergency services. All services are performed by licensed technicians in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.

2. Estimates and Pricing

  • Estimates are provided free of charge unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices are subject to change based on the final scope of work and materials used.
  • If additional work is needed beyond the original estimate, we will provide a revised estimate for approval before proceeding.

3. Appointments and Access

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and clear access to work areas.
  • Missed appointments without prior notice (minimum 24 hours) may be subject to a trip fee.
  • We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances.

4. Payments

  • Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We accept cash, check, Venmo (@plungeplumbing), Zelle (602-576-0694), or credit card (processing fees may apply).
  • Checks should be made payable to Plunge, A Plumbing Co., and mailed to 555 W 2nd Ave, Suite B7, Mesa, AZ 85210.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled service may be subject to a fee.
  • Refunds are only provided for services not rendered or if required by law. Material costs may be non-refundable.

6. Warranties

  • Labor is warrantied for 2 years from the service date.
  • Parts and materials are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty when applicable.
  • Warranty is void if damage is caused by misuse, unauthorized repairs, or unrelated issues.

7. Liability

  • Plunge is not liable for damages due to pre-existing conditions, concealed defects, or non-code-compliant systems.
  • Customers are responsible for disclosing all relevant information about plumbing systems prior to work.

8. Permits and Code Compliance

  • Where applicable, Plunge will obtain necessary permits. Permit fees will be included in the estimate.
  • We perform work according to current codes and best practices, but cannot guarantee pre-existing systems will pass inspection.

9. Emergency Services

  • Emergency calls are subject to availability and may incur after-hours or expedited service fees.
  • We will make every reasonable effort to address emergencies promptly but cannot guarantee immediate resolution.

10. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Customer information is used solely for scheduling, billing, and communication purposes and is never shared or sold to third parties.

11. Recurring Maintenance & Grease Trap Services

  • Service Agreements: Customers may opt into recurring service contracts for plumbing maintenance or grease trap cleaning. Service frequency, scope, and pricing will be outlined in a signed agreement.
  • Automatic Scheduling: Services are scheduled automatically based on the agreed maintenance cycle. Plunge will send reminders and confirm scheduling.
  • Payment Terms: Payment may be made per service or on a monthly cycle depending on the contract. Late payments may result in paused services or late fees.
  • Cancellation: Recurring contracts may be canceled with 30 days’ written notice. Discounts may be reversed if minimum service terms are not fulfilled.
  • Compliance for Commercial Clients: Grease trap services include waste disposal and documentation. Clients must ensure access and notify Plunge of compliance deadlines.
