I got a call to head up to Scottsdale because of a sump pump flood. Those are always fun. Turns out, someone had tried to do their own repairs, and thought it was a good idea to replace a 2” pipe with a 3” pipe, which might not seem like a huge deal, but it added enough water volume that the pump couldn’t handle it.
It was a bit of a mess, but we got it fixed up with the right size pipe.
