1. What these terms cover
These terms govern your use of the website hireplunge.com and set out the general terms on which Plunge, A Plumbing Co. LLC ("Plunge," "we," "us") provides plumbing services. By using the website or booking our services, you agree to them. Where you and Plunge sign a separate agreement, estimate, or service contract, that document controls for the work it describes.
2. Using this website
Booking requests. Submitting our online booking form sends us a service request. It is not a confirmed appointment: our office will contact you to confirm timing and details, and no appointment exists until we confirm it.
Information, not advice. Content on this site — including blog articles, how-to guidance, and cost information — is general information for Arizona homeowners and businesses. It is not professional advice about your specific plumbing system, and prices or ranges mentioned on the site are illustrations, not quotes or offers. If you attempt do-it-yourself work described on this site, you do so at your own risk; when in doubt, call a licensed plumber.
Our content. The website's text, images, and logo belong to Plunge. You're welcome to link to our pages; please don't copy, scrape, or republish our content without permission.
Fair use of our forms. Our booking and signup forms exist for genuine customer inquiries. Automated, bulk, or abusive submissions are prohibited.
As-is. We work to keep the site accurate and available but provide it "as is," without warranties of uninterrupted availability or error-free content.
3. Services and estimates
Plunge provides residential and commercial plumbing services — repairs, installations, maintenance, inspections, and emergency work — performed by licensed technicians in accordance with applicable regulations (ROC License #356453). Estimates are free unless we tell you otherwise, and pricing may change with the final scope of work and materials. If work beyond the original estimate becomes necessary, we will provide a revised estimate for your approval before proceeding.
4. Appointments and access
Please ensure safe, clear access to work areas. Appointments missed without at least 24 hours' notice may incur a trip fee. We may need to reschedule for weather, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our control, and will tell you as early as we can.
5. Payment
Payment is due when service is completed unless we agree otherwise in writing. We accept cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, and credit cards (card processing fees may apply). Checks are payable to Plunge, A Plumbing Co. at 555 W 2nd Ave, Suite B7, Mesa, AZ 85210.
6. After-hours and emergency service
Emergency service is subject to availability, and we make every reasonable effort to respond promptly. Service calls after 5 PM on weekdays, and at any time on weekends, are billed at double our standard rate or a flat $500 for up to two hours (materials not included), with additional time at $250 per hour [confirm these figures are current before publishing].
7. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations within 24 hours of a scheduled service may incur a fee. Refunds are provided for services not rendered or where the law requires; material costs may be non-refundable.
8. Warranties
Our labor is warrantied for two years from the service date. Parts and materials carry the manufacturer's warranty where applicable. Warranties are void where damage results from misuse, unauthorized repairs, or issues unrelated to our work.
9. Liability
Plunge is not liable for damage arising from pre-existing conditions, concealed defects, or systems that don't comply with code. Please tell us everything relevant about your plumbing system before work begins. To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability in connection with the website or our services is limited to the amount you paid for the service at issue.
10. Permits and code compliance
Where permits are required, we obtain them, and permit fees appear in your estimate. We perform work to current codes and best practices, but cannot guarantee that pre-existing systems will pass inspection.
11. Recurring maintenance and grease-trap service agreements
Recurring maintenance and grease-trap cleaning are offered under signed service agreements that state frequency, scope, and pricing. Visits are scheduled automatically on the agreed cycle, with reminders. Depending on the agreement, payment is per visit or monthly; late payment may pause service or incur fees. Either party may cancel with 30 days' written notice, and discounts may be reversed if minimum terms aren't met. Commercial grease-trap clients receive disposal documentation and are responsible for providing access and telling us their compliance deadlines.
12. Text messaging
By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages from Plunge about scheduling and updates on your request and, where you've opted in, promotions and offers. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Text HELP for support or STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Consent to texting is not a condition of purchasing any service, and opt-in data is never shared with third parties for their marketing.
13. Third-party links
Links to third-party sites (such as financing through Synchrony, or our social and review profiles) are provided for convenience. Those sites have their own terms and policies, and Plunge is not responsible for them.
14. General
These terms are governed by Arizona law, and any disputes will be handled in the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms by posting the revised version here with a new effective date.
